 HLK-31000 Power Pack

Installation Procedure

1. ENSURE THAT THE POWER IS

ISOLATED FROM THE SYSTEM
BEFORE COMMENCING ANY
WORK.

2. The HLK-31000 Water Jet Pump is

fitted in place of the HLK-90150
Hydraulic Tooling Power Pack on the
Skid.

3. All of the hoses to the HLK-90150

Hydraulic Tooling Power Pack will
have to be disconnected & blanked off

4. The two blue hoses to the motor

housing marked 1 & 2 in the picture
above should be removed from the
fittings.
The fittings are blanked with ¼” Cone
& BSP Nuts
The hoses are blanked with ¼” BSP
Hose End Blanks

5. The two blue hoses to the pump

housing marked 5 & 6 are removed
and blanked as 4 above

 6. The Pressure Output hose marked 4
should be removed and blanked with a
¼” BSP Blank labelled as 2 in the
fittings picture. The fitting on the
manifold should be blanked with the
other ¼” BSP Blank shown as 2 in the
fittings picture.

7. The Tank Return hose should be

blanked as 6 above except the fittings
are 3/8” BSP as labelled 3 in the
fittings picture.

8. Undo the Jubilee clips holding the

HLK-90150 Hydraulic Tooling Power
Pack. Remove the rubber protector
strips from the pump housing.

9. Slide the HLK-90150 Hydraulic

Tooling Power Pack in the direction of
the arrow and lift out from the mounts
on the skid.

NOTE:-
The HLK-90150 Hydraulic Tooling
Power Pack is heavy – 23Kg.

 10. Slide the HLK-31000 Water Jet Pump
in the direction of the arrow and locate
onto the mounting brackets

11. Re-fit the rubber protector strips

around the motor housing and locate
the jubilee clips together and tighten.

12. Re connect the blue hoses to the motor

housing – which were removed in step
4 above. The hoses from the pump
housing – shown as X in the picture -
are not used with the HLK-31000
Water Jet Pump.

13. Connect the Water Filter to the suction

port of the pump – if not already fitted

Fit the ¼” BSP hose to the pressure

port of the pump

 14. Slacken the M8 Nyloc Nuts marked in
the picture opposite on the jaw rotate

15. Remove the M6 Cap Head Screws and

spacer rods shown in the picture
opposite on the jaw rotate

16. Position the spacer rods through the

bored holes in the jet nozzle mount
block

 17. Fit the jet nozzle mount block into the
jaw rotate and re-fit the M6 screws

18. Fit the other end of the ¼” BSP Hose

to the jet nozzle mount block as shown.
Fit the nozzle – if not already fitted

19. To re-fit the HLK-90150 Hydraulic

Tooling Power Pack follow the above
instructions in reverse order
