As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Joe Biden is the current President of the United

States. He assumed office on January 20, 2021, succeeding President Donald Trump. Prior to his
presidency, Joe Biden served as the Vice President of the United States under President Barack
Obama from 2009 to 2017.

President Biden's administration has prioritized addressing key issues such as the COVID-19
pandemic, economic recovery, climate change, and racial justice. He has implemented various
policies, including a comprehensive COVID-19 vaccination campaign, economic stimulus packages,
and climate initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

President Biden has also focused on strengthening international alliances and reengaging with global
organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Paris Agreement on climate change. His
administration has emphasized diplomacy in addressing foreign policy challenges and promoting
democracy and human rights worldwide.
