Fridah’s analysis regarding the nursing leadership is precise and thorough. She
provide different perspectives on the impacts of using different nursing leadership styles. For
instance, the positive leadership style clearly identify the use of transformational leadership
qualities by the director; which in turn bring improve collaboration among the team members.
The leadership abilities as described is emphasised through the published works of Yan et al.

Further, the negative leadership experiences as indicated by Fridah describes in details


the limitation associated to the use of autocratic leadership style. As such, nurses should
make use of the failures in some leadership styles to improve their performance and become
constructive and forward thinking.
