I have the pleasure of teaching Alexa de la Paz in my AP Language and Composition course and
English 4 at ECHS. Miss de la Paz continually impresses me with her ability to be articulate about high
level concepts in Literature. In class, Alexa always works hard. Her work is always completed on time,
and it is always correct and organized. She is always willing to help someone and works well with a
variety of people. She truly is a joy to have in class.

Alexa plans to attend Merced College for 2 years before transferring to a UC. Alexa wishes to pursue a
teaching career. She is interested in majoring in Family Consumer Science. I am confident that Alexa
has used her high school time effectively and she is ready for college. In my opinion, she will be a
successful college student and a wonderful educator.
