TECHNIQUES IN WRITING PERSUASIVE ESSAY- Day 5
Reference: Grade 10 Module for Third Grading, English Time Quarter 3
Materials: Visual Aid, Television/Projector, Laptop

PROCEDURE:

Preparatory Activities:
● Class greeting
● Checking of attendance
● Prayer

A. Motivation
Teacher: “Class, how are you feeling today? Let me know by giving me an emoji in our
chat box”

B. Review
Teacher: “Can someone give me one rhetorical devices that we have discussed?”
“Can you give me an example of this rhetorical device?”

C. Discussion:

THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN INFORMATIVE AND PERSUASIVE TEXTS


The informative text is important in constructing writing. Students need to gather
evidence, data, and relevant facts to construct an effective informative essay. This
information is very crucial when writing a persuasive text.

INFORMATIVE WRITING PERSUASIVE WRITING
