Chaotic Traffic Condition at C. M. Recto
Corner Coastal Road, Gusa, Cag. de Oro.

Dear MR. BORLAGNATAN:

We thank you for the prompt, judicious and appropriate action that your office did on
our above-referred letter complaint.

Soon after your two (2) “KEEP RIGHT LANE OPEN” traffic signs were posted in
the recommended areas, they were implemented immediately by two (2) of your RTA
personnel, thereby dissipating the chaotic traffic situation in the area. We saw that your two
(2) assigned RTA personnel issued citation tickets to violators who were accordingly warned.
Thereafter, everybody became law abiding instantaneously.

However, as soon as your two (2) RTA personnel left the area of concern, the chaotic
traffic situation recurred up to this writing. Motorists have gone back to their habit of
blocking the right lane of the highway eliciting ear piercing sounds of horns being blown by
irritated motorists who are blocked from turning to the right side at the corner.

There is perhaps a need for your kind office to now and then make surprise
enforcement of the traffic sign through RTA enforcers who will keep issuing citation tickets
to violators to inculcate into every motorists mind that it is costly and troublesome to be
violating the said traffic sign.

For your kind and judicious consideration in pursuit of orderly behavior of all
motorists.
