PROVINCIAL JAIL

Statement of the problem:

The province of Cagayan has decided to build a new Two-Storey Provincial Jail
focusing on its environment that shall benefit especially the inmates and staff and people
outside the vicinity. The proposed project tends to provide adequate living spaces, facilities,
amenities and the basic needs of inmates.

Design Objective:

1. To design the most economical and environmental friendly, safe and secure,
appropriate, and reliable correctional cell in the geography of the Philippines

2. To contribute highly in incorporating radical solution on the contemporary issues


concerning structural design and environment-related problems

LOT DESCRIPTION

A 12 meter Major Road at the south west portion of the site that will serve as the main
access to the site. An Agricultural Area is can be viewed on the west portion while a body
of water is located on the east part, beside the lot. Possible flooding can occur within the
vicinity of the site. Residential zone can be seen 10 meters away from the site located at the
