RESON OF REVISION
1. Add unit attention and Remove effectivity for Wings Air.
2. Revise the Note of closing days that related with SACA Item.
3. Add some item NSRDIL on Cabin General, Flight Deck and Passenger Seat.
4. Remove the cargo net from the item NSRDIL.
5. Revise on missing fastener limitation item.
REASON
In order we have the way to defer non-safety related items, we have to have a list of those
items regarded non-safety. Though every components can be the cause of an unairworthy
condition but according to their distance to the likely hood to the unsafe condition.
DESCRIPTION
This engineering Information is issued to provide the time limitation of rectification those
differed item as follow:
1. Finding must be rectified within 90 calendar days of the notification, except there is
notification on list.
2. If within 90 Calendar days NSRDIL can’t be rectified due to need part, NSRDIL can be
extend depend on operator policy if PO already issued.

CABIN GENERAL
1. Misc Cabin Forms: missing, need replenishing.
2. Appearance Item: worn, soiled, frayed, torn, damaged, loose, missing (must not
present hazard to pax / crew or impede emergency egress).
a. Cabin interior trim
b. Carpet / floor covering
Note: If Floor/carpet in poor condition affecting the rapid evacuation
must be close max 7 working days of the notification.
c. Curtain / tiebacks
d. Wall covering ( including side wall panels, excluding side wall return air grilles)
3. Door Cover / Slide Bustle: dirty, minor/insignificant damage
4. Safety Demo Equipment:
a. Demo Tape (notify lead flight attendant, physical demo required)
b. Demo Equipment: Safety Belt, Life Vest, O2 Mask (consider availability of safety
video).Note: Only Batik Air Fleets.
5. Coat Hanger Installation. Note : Only for bussiness class closet.
6. Cabin Lighting/Signs (only items not covered by MEL ATA 33):
a. Reading Lights
b. Light Lens/Covers (including emergency light): Loose, Damaged but light
functions properly.
c. Lavatory Occupied Light
7. Spare Life Vests: Missing
8. Magazine Rack / Restraint
9. Cabin Mirrors
10. Seat Number Placards
11. Seat Track Covers: Damaged, Loose, Missing (any exposed wiring must be
protected) must be close max 7 working days of the notification.
12. Cabin Windows:
a. Interior Panel: Damaged, Needs Cleaning
b. Window Trim: Loose, Damaged, Missing
13. PSU Panel: Damaged/Needs Cleaning but functions properly:
a. Individual Gasper Outlets: Inoperative, Damaged, Won't Shutoff.
b. Attendant Call: Light or Switch Inoperative.
14. Cabin Handset Cradle: Damaged (handset fully operational) cabin equipment
not properly secure must be close max 7 working days of the
notification.
15. Electrical Outlets.
16. Ventilation Grill: Dirty.
17. Universal Precaution Kit: Missing, Contents Used.
18. Braille Book: Missing.
19. On Board Wheelchair: Missing (notify Customer Service Rep).
20. Cabin Divider Panels: Operable, but Difficult to Position Closed.

Note:
1) If placard associated operational flight deck markings and or placards
missing or incorrect must be close max 1 month of the notification.
2) If lavatory inoperative lavatory inoperative (not placarded as such and
not confirmed with MEL restrictions if any) must be close max 10
working days of the notification.
3) If markings and or placards required by the manufacturer not applied or
unreadable must be close max 3 months of the notification.
4) If safety markings not applied or unreadable must be close max 1 month
of the notification.
5) If door operation instructions missing or unclear must be close max 1
month of the notification.

MISCELLANEOUS
1. Passenger Seat Tray Table Assembly (& Latch) Tray table locks fail to
maintain the tables in upright position in case of the deceleration,
shocks ( for seats adjacent to emergency exits) finding must be
close max 7 days of the notification.
