2. With aid of a well labelled diagram, explain how Sulphur is extracted from its naturally occurring
compound.

3. Explain the following observation and provide a well-balanced chemical equation


i. Chlorine water is exposed to sunlight
ii. Carbon is put in a test tube containing sulphuric acid
iii. Concentrated sulphuric acid is mixed with brown sugar
iv. Ammonia gas is passed through a gas jar containing hydrogen chloride
v. Lowering a piece of burning magnesium in a gas jar containing carbon dioxide
vi. Sulphur dioxide is passed through a red flower

4. Study the diagram below for the preparation of chlorine gas and answer the question that follows
