22-23 SECA Virtual Interview & Essay Event - Applicant Information Sheet
You have been selected to participate in the Spring Early College Academy Virtual Interview & Essay
Writing event as a part of the recruitment process for admittance to SECA for the 2022-2023 school year.
It will be very important to review the information provided, within this document, and follow the
instructions carefully in preparation for the next phase of the recruitment process.

**Participants will be required to complete an acknowledgement form, the day of the event,
stating that they have read this information and viewed the video link
Step III
Locate your school name, then find your first and last name along with your assigned group on
the INTERVIEW GROUPS doc. After locating your group, review the SECA 22-23
RECRUITMENT INTERVIEW EVENT TIMETABLE & LINKS doc to determine the time you
have been assigned to check-in, interview, complete essay, and check-out. Time slots are
based on your group assignment.
Step I
Access the SECA 22-23 RECRUITMENT INTERVIEW EVENT TIMETABLE & LINKS
document at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled check-in time. Click the check-in link,
according to your assigned group time and staff will provide additional instructions at that time.
Reminders
● This event is for applicants only (family members should not assist or participate)
● Be sure you are appropriately dressed and have a quiet space to work
● Applicants should have access to a computer and/or chromebook with a working mic and camera
● Cameras and mics should remain on during the interview session
● Cameras must remain on during the essay session while mics need to be muted
