Dear Sir/Ma’am,

I am writing this letter to formally request your assistance with my pre-final examination research on the
Juvenile Delinquency and Juvenile Justice System (Crim5) subject. I am currently enrolled at Saint Joseph
College-Maasin under the instruction of Ms. Charen Gono, and as part of my course requirements, I am
conducting a research study on domestic violence.

In order to conduct a comprehensive and accurate study, I am in need of the list, even at least one (1)
domestic violence victim within your barangay. Please note that this information will be used strictly for
academic purposes and all data gathered will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
