-Storage device types have two separated categories.
Permanent-Magnetic Storage Types :CD, DVD, Sd Card
Temporary; RAM ,ROM, Cache Memory

2. What makes it as an essential hardware device.

-Because it reads, writes, and stores all your data securely and safely.

3. What composes a computer peripherals?

-External hardware components, also called peripheral components, are those items
that are often externally connected to the computer to control either input or output
functions

4. Different types of ports and cables used in computer system?

-Serial : USB

Video : HDMI, DVI, VGA

Audio : Stereo in, Stereo out, Headphone out

Network : Ethernet

Some ports that are now rarely used, but were common not long ago :

Serial : Firewire, PS2
