On January 31 until February 2, 2023, the students of the New Media Communication
bachelor's degree Program with Honours organized the Islamic and New Media Seminar
Program in the final year. This Seminar Program is organized in the Faculty Lecture Hall 1 at
the Faculty of Leadership and Management of the University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).
This program is organized to provide an opportunity for Final Year students to present their
Final Project and share the information that has been collected to all students.
The first day of the seminar went according to schedule. Starting with the opening ceremony,
which was officiated by the Deputy Dean, Dr. Suria Hani A. Rahman. Then, the seminar
continued with video gimmicks and student presentations according to the list of names that
had been set in the program papers. The presentation on the first day of the seminar, which is
31 January 2023, went smoothly even though the presenter did not reach the total time of 15
minutes for each one as stipulated. The seminar on the first day ended at 5.30 pm ending with
10 presenters for the second session.
On the second day of the seminar, a total of 20 presenters are expected to present their topics
and have been divided into three sessions that will end at 5.30pm. However, most presenters
present their research for less than 10 minutes. This made the allotted time less and all twenty
presenters finished presenting their studies before two o'clock in the afternoon. With that, the
Islamic Media Seminar on the second day ended early.
On the last day of the Islamic Media Seminar, which is February 2, 2023, a total of 19
presenters presented their studies. The presenters also mostly presented for less than 15 minutes
according to the set time, but the attempt on the day went smoothly. During the closing
ceremony of this seminar, Dr. Kartini Kamaruzzaman as Head of the New Media
Communication Program, was gave speech to congratulate the 4th year students of New Media
Communication (NewMeC), Academic Session 2022/2023 for organizing this seminar. Also
 present, Dr. Eizan Azira Mat Sharif as an advisory lecturer who guides and helps the 4th year
students of NewMeC in organizing this Islamic seminar. Not forgetting also present Dr. Hizral
Tazzif Hisham, senior lecturer at NewMeC. The closing ceremony continued with the
announcement of the five Best Infographic winners by Dr. Eizan Azira and the gift presentation
were presented by Dr. Hizral Tazzif. Meanwhile, the prize presentation for the five Best
Presenters was presented by Dr. Kartini Kamaruzzaman. The ceremony closed with a
photography session and a meal.
