EXECUTIVE SUMMARIES
We are students from the Islamic University of Selangor and we go to a technology company
called DZ COM TECHNOLOGY for an interview session to complete our assignment as first-
year bachelor's degree students for the subject of management. we have go for an interview
to know more about company wise and background. And our objective is to know more how
DZ COM TECHNOLOGIES to manage the company?
DZ COM TECHNOLOGIES is located at 18C, Jalan Perak P15, Precinct 15, 62050 Putrajaya
federal territory of Putrajaya. we took a grab to go visit the DZ office in Putrajaya for an
interview. And we deal with Mr Zul as Head of IT (Information Technology) there for an
interview about how the DZ company is doing. Mr Zul is one of head there that monitor
everything related at DZ COM TECHNOLOGIES.
DZ COM TECHNOLOGIES provide Professional IT Services & Technology Consulting. For more

For quiet a while in the IT field, we have served government agencies and private sector with
registration with several vendor system such as Ministry of Finance (MoF).
So from my view DZ COM TECHNOLOGIES is one of the companies that provides various
types of services and products. They try to provide the best service to their customers so
that customers are completely satisfied. They are also reliable in conversational skills and
are open and friendly to customers and outsiders.

INTRODUCTION OF COMPONY
At the beginning this company was established by Mr. Zul ( Ts. Mohd Dzul Aiman Bin Aslan )
and the company was registered in his name but now this company is transfer to Mr. Zul's
father. Now this company operates at 18C, Jalan Perak P15, Precinct 15,62050 Putrajaya,
federal territory of Putrajaya. From 9.00 am until 5.30 pm
This company started with a small base in Bangi, at first Mr. Zul ran this company in his
apartment in Bangi. However, due to the rental business he runs, he needs a wider space to
place his company's goods. When operating in his apartment, Mr. Zul experienced
difficulties in moving the rented items belonging to his company because it was difficult to
put the items back into the house due to the fact that the house he lived in was an
apartment and he had difficulty dealing with the guard to acces into house.
So after thinking of Encik Zul moving his company to Putrajaya in persint 8, at first he shared
an office with his friend who runs tuition. However, after a long time Mr. Zul moved his
company to Persint 15 on Dayan Sarawak. Encil Zul rents a larger office of 2000 feet to
provide more comfort. Number of wokers is 9.
This new office located in Putrajaya is also one of the strategic locations. Because it is in the
center of the city, it is easier to find customers.DZ TECHNOLOGIES also already has regular
customers there, the employee's house is also close to the office, the area is also more
strategic, besides that the area is also easy to get parking. And most importantly, DZ
TECHNOLOGIES is easier to recognize in this new office.

THE MANAGEMENT FUNCTION
I. Mission
So for our mission is to strengthen profesional relationship with our clients to provide
effective and reliable information technology services for their needs. Also we want to be a
reliable IT provider in Malaysia. First Provide reliable and secure system development
Services. Second Offer quality rental services and meet the needs and satisfaction of
customers. And for the last Provide ICT equipment in line with the latest technological
developments
II. Vission
To survive in terms of short-term and long-term plans, we will look for a sale. We will do a
lot of sales. And then, we will approach more customers that we don't know yet. We will
meet them. Mostly, most of the tenders, we go. We want to meet the client itself. So, we go.
We go to the department and so on. Even though we don't win, but we introduce ourselves
to the vendors and the government and so on. So, that's our way. And then, for short-term
plans, probably, we will sustain. We also have to look into a lot of options to survive
The company has the principle of being open to ideas. If there is someone who has an idea
for development, they can talk to the management. We craft how to achieve the objective,
which one is appropriate. Okay. Most of the ideas are basically talk. Like I have an idea for
whatever the company. This idea is from the management itself. The top management. We

welcome ideas from other staff. So, the idea always comes from the top. Because we want
to sustain too. Because that will follow. Sometimes the idea of the staff is not used.
Sometimes it's too far from what we want to achieve. Exactly. But the best thing, we like to
discuss.

Organizing
In this office there are 9 employees under Mr. Zul. They are in their respective positions,
they are divided into three categories first Project Manager next, Application Development
and lastly Technical Solution and support Support.
Actually, the criteria depends on the job scope. If we look for IT, we want him to graduate IT.
And then for training, he doesn't have any problems. We can go from halal, you can apply,
we don't have any problems. So training, more to management, then it should be okay. We
can look for management. For the operation, there are no problems.The important thing
now is we want to look for a person who has the right attitude. Qualification is good.
Everyone can qualify.

Leading and motivation
every department has a leader. There are people that I monitor, but I am here. I have two
roles. One here, one here. So, for training with this one, he will report to me. On this role.
Because we just left and there are no people here. So, I take over here. For training, he is
open to people like me.
Let's say, Rahimah managed to get a license RM50,000. Give her some reward. Let's say, the
reward is 10% of the RM50,000. It's 5K on top of her salary. There's more. That's what
motivates her.The second one is like friendship, also environment included
Providing bonuses may drive them to work harder and contribute more. bonuses will offer
an incentive for employees to meet a required objective.Importantly, it is always the right
time to give employees greater responsibility after a bonus since their levels of motivation
and morale are higher then.

Communication and Controlling
So, how do Dz staff communicate? If I don't have time to go back to the office, we can do
Zoom. Now, there are meetings and everything. If the meeting is urgent, we can do Zoom.
Not Zoom with the customer, but Zoom with the staff. All the staff here Zoom with me.
Maybe there are people outside. Because we don't have the same timing in the office. And
then communication, officially, email. Commercial, for example, like a public holiday, there is
a salary increase, there is a bonus. Or things that are formal. That's through email. But if it's
normal, we use WhatsApp.
II. Between the staff, there is a conflict, how the company resolve it?
There must be a conflict. I let it... You can fight, no? He usually conflicts as long as he doesn't
interfere with the operational decisions. There is no problem. Mostly... There are...There
was, This is the story from before. The staff is no longer there. He had a conflict with the
practical students. Because of that, when it's a conflict, it's not an impact on the company,
it's just a matter of their performance. So, when it's their performance, I'll call them and
discuss about their performance. Okay. Unless it's a family conflict. Sorry, it's a conflict
between them and their family. So, if it's between staff, I'll call both sides. Okay. I'll call both
sides. I want to ask both sides. So, mostly, if both of them say nothing, even though I know
nothing, I'll take their words. You don't take,Don't be like, oh, I know what he said earlier.
I'm not like that. I'm not like that. I want to hear you tell me. I'll take what you tell me. I'm
not like, oh, “A” told me that you're always shy or you're always like this. No. So, I'm like,
what did you say, “A”? He said, “B”, differently. So, I'll evaluate how it is. For example,
sometimes there's a financial problem. I say, talk to me. We can discuss. So, sometimes, we
know he can do something that helps us.

Swot Analysis
I. Strengths
It has a competitive edge in the market because to its broad range of services, which
includes software development, IT consulting, and developing technologies.
II. Weaknesses.
Potential disadvantages include DZCom Technologies' reliance on a small number of
significant clients to provide the majority of its income.
Restricted market presence in some areas creates obstacles to potential growth and
expansion. A company may be at risk of technological obsolescence if it relies too much on a
single technology.
III. Opportunities.
Taking advantage of cutting-edge technology like Cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT),
and artificial intelligence (AI) presents opportunities for market differentiation and
innovation.
IV. Threats:
The market position and profitability of DZCom Technologies are under jeopardy due to
intense rivalry from both new and established businesses. Due to economic downturns and
geopolitical upheaval, client spending and project budgets may have an influence on the
company's revenue streams. With technology improving at a rapid pace and customer tastes
changing, DZCom Technologies needs to stay adaptable and swift to stay competitive in the
rapidly changing technological sector.
The Conclusion :
All things considered, DZCom Technologies has a solid foundation for future growth and has
sound management practices. By seizing chances, averting risks, utilizing its advantages, and
improving its weaknesses, the company may maintain its competitive edge in the market.
