Who Dirtied the Water?

Question: Is the story ‘’ Who dirtied the water? ’’ applicable in your local setting? As a student
what can you do to help save our endangered water resources?

This narrative ‘’ Who dirtied the water? ’’ is applicable in our local setting it relates to
what I witnessed. I used to visit this place since it had a long river where you could swim, the
people obtained fresh-water food, and it was still clean. In addition, there were some huge and
older trees present. Still, a village was to be built. This required cutting down all the trees,
clearing the entire area. As for the process, repeatedly bringing in huge machinery for land
preparation; the cement and other construction-related trash were soon being thrown straight into
the river. Even after two years of work, it is still ongoing. The construction workers stay
throughout the procedure and don't seem to care what they leave behind by the river. People in
our community were first astonished to learn about the river next to the building site, but because
they witnessed it in an unfavorable manner, they would prefer not to go near the river because
they don't admire it as much as they once did. Following,it might not take long for the previous
natural locale to turn into a landfill, exactly like in the text. The worst outcomes are awaiting the
entire community if it goes unaddressed.

As a student, I have an opportunity to speak with decision-makers and offer suggestions and
advocacy for the preservation of our local river and other threatened water resources. Maybe in
this way and with the support of the public, people will become aware of these disadvantages of
developments.
