1. Make a video tour of a significant location/significant community service

Visit a place -- on a field trip, get involved in a community service, on vacation or any time -- share your learning
experience with others by recording video of it and narrating as you did. (visit to a hill station, museum or other such
place, asking permission first is probably a good idea!) create a video slideshow with Animoto or in a screen cast.
A virtual walking tour is an option, too. Use Google Maps Street View to view one of these fantastic locations
virtually (or anywhere else). Record it.

2. Create a personal narrative

Everyone has a story, and when we share our own experiences, it can be a motivating factor for others -- and help us
reflect on our lives and choices. Narratives can be about students themselves, a fictional character or historical
person. A few easy ways to record these include:
 a simple smartphone recording uploaded to the Google Drive mobile app
 add a video to a slide in a shared Google Slides presentation using the Alice Keeler Webcam Record extension for
Google Chrome
 use the webcam option in the Screen castify Chrome extension
 record a video using the Clip Champ webcam utility (and upload to Drive, YouTube or others)

3. Record interviews (in person or virtually)

The people around us and around the world are living history. Their experiences, information, and advice are a
treasure trove waiting to be mined. Use a video response tool like Flip grid (flipgrid.com) to record interviews. They
could be in-person interviews where both parties sit next to each other in the camera's frame. Or, they could be
virtual interviews, where someone far away records responses to questions in a Flip grid video (just share the link
with them to record a video). They can be serious, silly ... even fictional. The sky's the limit!

 The judges will decide the category and subcategory of the submitted entries.

English
Enhance Speaking skills:
Mastering any skill, including communication skills, comes down to practice. By practicing speaking, you can learn
from mistakes and build both your vocabulary and understanding.
Here are some tried and proven methods to enhance your English-speaking skills:

 Find a Conversation Partner: If possible, it’s best to find a partner speaker with whom you can practice your
English. Have a 5 to 10 minutes conversation in English language.
 Make Sure to Listen as Well As Speak: One of the best ways to understand the formulation of sentences and build
your vocabulary is to listen to people speak. Try listening to podcasts and recorded conversations. From YouTube
to real-life conversations, there are so many places to access English speaking.
 Record Your Conversation Practice: When it comes to speaking, you will likely make mistakes. But you have to be
open to making mistakes so that you can learn from them. If you record yourself speaking with your conversation
partner, you can play it back and learn even better. That way, you can track your progress and pick up on
pronunciation.
 Surround Yourself with The English Language: English is everywhere. No matter where you live, you can find
menus, marketing materials, books, movies, road signs, and more with the English language. The more you
immerse yourself and pay attention to these daily pieces of English, the stronger your foundation will be.
 Practice With Music and Movies: Most people like to relax and unwind with some music or entertainment in the
form of movies. You can choose to watch movies in English, or instead, watch them in English language with
English subtitles that you can read.
 Read Aloud: If you like to read more than speak and make up your own conversation, try reading out loud. That
way, you can hear yourself pronounce the words and remember them more because you are both seeing and
reading them.
 Talk To Yourself: If you’re still unsure whether you’re ready to put your speaking skills to the test, simply talk to
yourself! The more you practice with yourself, the better your English skills will become.
Enhance Comprehending skill:
You must read something every day at home, may it be your OPE Book of class 6, Newspapers, English novels, play
