Introduction: On the board are the meanings of the word and phrases that we will learn today. Let’s
read them altogether .
WORDS/PHRASES MEANIMGS
Introduction: The first phrase that we will learn today is tingle. Can you read it with me?
Modeling: When I was a little I always though I was a marked out, special, on the verge of
something momentous.
Feedback: What does tingle mean? Have you ever been feel tingle? When it is?
Introduction: Next we will learn about the word saccharine. Can you say it again?
Modeling: When I was in High School, I met a friend that are very talkative and every time we
met she talks about her dog in such a saccharine way that you would think she is talking about a
human child.
Feedback: So what saccharine mean from the definition on the board? Did you try to be
saccharine sometimes.
Modeling: One day Jane celebrate her Birthday party on their garden and she felt happy on that
day because myriad of people attended, and also she receive myriad of gifts that she can able to
count the myriad of blessing she had received.
Feedback: What does myriad mean? Can you give example of it?
Introduction: For our last phrase, we have here, scrambled back down. Can you
say it again?
Modeling: Kent was having a examination and he is confident that he will passed in the
examination because he study well, so when the test paper already distributed he start
answering it, and after taking that examination the teacher checked his test paper and he felt
relish because he got a high score.
Feedback: What does relish means? Did you understand what the meaning of relish by the given
definition?
