Makeup Morgue Project

Makeup Morgue:
An organized collection of photographs, clippings, postcards, drawings, etc. that
serve as a reference tool and inspiration for a makeup design

Project Requirements: (This project is worth 75 points)

3 Fantasy
3 Old Age (must be pictures of actual old people)
3 Cultural/Tribal (makeups specific to different cultures or tribes around the world)
3 Animal (can be makeup or actual animals)
3 Bruises/Abrasions (must be makeup)
3 Historical Makeup (must be from three different time periods & labeled with time period)
2 Historical Hairstyles (women or men, can be facial hair, label time period, 2 different periods)

 All entries/slides must be labeled with the appropriate category and time period for Historical.
 All morgue entries should be color (old age may be in black/white)
 Examples can be clippings from newspapers, magazines, posters, postcards, actual photos or color
printouts from the Internet.
 Creativity is an important part of your grade! Use animations and transitions. Music and sound are acceptable. Get
creative with backgrounds. You could also add in extra information or quotes.
 For this project, you must use a platform other than Power Point or Google Slides!

You will present your project to the class. The project must be submitted in Schoology unless
you are making a “hard copy” project.

If you print pictures on your own they must be in color and bigger than 1" square.

Extra Credit Opportunity:

Find at least 5 pictures representing an Age Progression of one person.
You must label the approximate age of the person in each photo and they must be presented in
order. Your first picture should be around the age of teenager/young adult and progress to at
least age 50-60 if not older. You must follow the instructions completely in order to receive the
extra credit.
