A. Introduction
After students have learned the concepts and theories of organizational management,
human resource management, marketing, promotion, sales, customer service
management, financial management, and operational management, they are encouraged to
visit a language-teaching organization to conduct observations and interviews. They are
asked to collect the relevant documents. These activities are expected to give them insight
and knowledge about the management of language-teaching organizations.

B. Read the directions carefully


1. Choose a unit within a language teaching organization. Work individually or in groups

2. Research the organization through observation, interview, document analysis,

 The vision and mission of the language teaching organization.
 The individuals working there, including their qualifications and job descriptions.
 The organizational structure and strategies for employee development.
 The products or services offered by the language teaching organization.
 The uniqueness of the products of services
 The customers of the language teaching organizations and the strategies to
provide costumer excellence.
 The strategies for promoting, marketing, and selling products and services.
 The strategies for maintaining a healthy cashflow (strategic financial planning)
 The strategies employed by the language teaching organization to remain
competitive.
4. Summarize the information above and do a critical analysis using the
followingquestions:
 What insight can you gain from your research on language teaching organizations?
 In your perspective, what areas could be improved? How and why?
 If you are working in a group, describe each member’s contribution to this project.
