III. PROCEDURES
a) Preparation
 Prayer
 Greetings
 Checking of Attendance
 Reviewing of past lesson and/or proceed to the next lesson.

b) Motivation
 Ask the students the following question/s.
 Show the class a picture of a person who is running. Ask them the
importance of running to human body.

c) Activity Proper
i. Activity
Discuss the short history, nature, types and benefits of the sport running.
ii. Analysis
Ask the students the following question/s:
What is running?
What are the benefits of running
iii. Abstraction
Conceptualization:
Ask the students the following question/s
1. How did running started?
2. What are the different types of running?
3. How beneficial running is?
4. What are the different skills in which running measured?

iv. Application
Let the students conduct the 40-meter sprint.
IV. EVALUATION
 What are the different types of running?
 What are the phases of sprinting?
V. ASSIGNMENT
Advance reading on sport swimming.
