Responsibilities as Piping engineer (Commissing work and Maintenance work)

  Fabrication of piping spool as per the requirements for commissing work (DFCU) activities
and do Maintenance job as per IAN provided by QC department ( HDPE and PPU Unit) at
HMEL refinery Bathinda for Petrochemical Unit
 Understanding of drawing and project specification
 Understand the P&ID drawing and Isometric drawing

Responsibilities as Mechanical Tank Engineer (Fabrication )

 Fabrication & assembly of FOUR STORAGE (Double Wall) Tanks like TCP,
Roof Assembly, Compressor Ring, Inner Staircase, Suspended Deck, External
Structure ,Bottom, Sketch Plate , Wall liner ,Embedment Plate, etc.
 Fabrication, assembly and erection work of 37m diameters (2 Nos. Double
Wall Tank), 47m diameters (2 Nos. Double Wall Tank).
 Checking of detailed fabrication drawings like GA drawings development &
cutting plan drawing, attachment drawing, nozzle and attachment drawing,
manhole/handhold assembly drawing, loading data, name plate, platform and
ladder drawing as per client’ s data sheet; technical specifications and
drawing
 Monitoring the tank material from fabrication to erection site as per
respective priority at site.

Responsibilities as Mechanical Tank Engineer (Erection )

 Responsible for subassembly and erection of DWST (Ethylene) tank work.

 Coordinate with the civil & mechanical all daily activities.
 Interface coordinate with other department like QA/QC, safety and civil for
smooth and uninterrupted work flow.
 Monitor work force is met to the requirement in order to keep original
schedule by company.
 Direct, co-ordinate, monitor and guide all construction activities to achieve a
co-ordinate construction sequence, ensuring all HSE and project
requirements are met
 Erection of escape ladder, pump platform structure, outer CS pipe, peripheral
handrail, outer staircase handrail.
 All activities related Cryogenic, Hydro test, Jacking, Transport the fabricated
tank material to the erection site has been done by myself.
 Planning and checking of work progress and schedule to meet the target date
 Preparation of daily and weekly progress reports, conduct safety meeting .
 Aware of welding inspection of Visual inspection, DPT inspection
