- Congratulations to Srirangam Addepalli! He is getting married in this month. Best wishes! - Congratulations to Angelia and Gayle winners of the area Speech Contest. - Congratulations to Jian for finishing his Competent Communication Manual. Keep up the good work! - Welcome to our new member Gina Elder!

Club Announcement
-Club membership drive contest will last from August to December 2009. Bring a guest to our meeting and earn 5 points. Earn 1 more point each time the guest visits again. When your guest joins, you will earn 20 points. When your guest gives his/her ice-breaker speech you will earn 10 points! The first place winner of the contest will win a $30 gift certificate from Toastmasters International. The second place winner of the contest will win a $20 gift certificate and the third place will win a $10 gift certificate from Toastmasters International. Encourage your friends and colleagues to visit our club. -Its time to pay club dues! The cost is $45 for half year (Oct. 2009 to March 2010) $27 goes to Toastmasters International and $18 goes to our club. The due date is Sept. 31st. -District 23 Fall 2009 Conference will be held in Amarillo on Oct. 16-17 2009. It is only two hours driving from Lubbock. If you are interested in the conference, go to the district 23s website and sign the registration form! http://www.district23.org/
