ABSTRACT

The purpose of the study was to examine the environment has it influence
the performance of students in Accounting in Ado Local Government Area of
Ekiti State.
The design used for the study was descriptive research of the survey type and
also employed an ex-post facto research design. The survey method was used
with an aim of collecting data and information. Secondary schools were
randomly selected for the study. The instrument used was questionnaire for
students on the topic. The data was analysed, using t-test statistical method and
the result was upheld at 0.05 level of significant.
1. Parents are advised to meet the financial needs of their children by buying
relevant textbooks for them.
3. Parents can motivate their wards by giving them unexpected gifts and discuss
academic problems with their teachers
