SPSS 26 Installation for Mac

Please download and install via the link given on your email:

1) Click on the ‘SPSS 26 for Mac (main)’ link provided on your email

2) If the below box opens, click ‘Open’

3) When downloaded click on the file to open (bottom left of screen):

4) In the new window, double click the SPSS_Statistics_Installer icon:

 5) In the Software Update window, click Install. If you already have Java 6
installed, you may or may not see this window:

6) Enter your Mac OSX password to begin installation of SPSS 26 and click OK

7) Click Install to continue the installation

8) Click English and Ok
9) In the Introduction window, click Next to continue the installation.
10) In the Software License Agreement window, read and click I accept the terms
in the license agreement. Click Next.

 11) In the Essentials for Python window, you can choose whether you need to
install Python or not (we recommend Yes), click Next.

12) In the License Agreement window, click I accept the terms of the license
agreement and click Next.

 13) In the Choose Install Folder window, click Next.

14) In the Pre-Installation Summary window, click Install.

 15) You will see SPSS 26 installation progress

16) When Install Complete, leave Start IBM SPSS Statistics 26 now box ticked,
click Done.

 17) Wait whilst SPSS 26 opens, then Click License Product

18) Click Next

 19) In the Product Authorization window, select Authorised user licence and click
Next

20) Enter the licence code for SPSS 26 given on your email. Click Next.

 21) In the Internet Authorization Status window, click Next.

22)You should see Successfully processed all codes, click Next

23) There should be a Licensing Completed displayed, click Finish. SPSS 26

should now be installed.

24) Finally restart your MAC – SPSS should now be ready to use!
