Meeting 1

1. Preliminary Activities (15 minutes) Information


- Teachers prepare students to follow the learning process such
as praying, absenteeism, preparing textbooks, textual materials
to say hello, say goodbye, thank you, ask for forgiveness, and
respond to it
- The teacher conveys the scope of the material and the
description of the activity in accordance with the syllabus.
2. Core activities (60 minutes)
- Students pay attention to the teacher's explanation of the
expression material greeting, saying goodbye, saying thank
you, and apologizing and responding using a power point.
- Learners pay attention to examples of everyday conversations
about saying hello, saying goodbye, thanking, apologizing,
and responding to them.
- Learners begin to identify examples of such abuse and show
which parts are saying hello, saying goodbye, thanking,
apologizing, and responding to them.
- Learners are formed in pairs, each learner is given
instructions to make a simple conversation text about saying
hello, saying goodbye, thanking, apologizing, and responding
to it.
- Learners read the results of the text using pronounciation and
good and correct intonation.
- Learners are given the opportunity to ask about the material
that has been learned on the day.
3. Closing Activities (15 minutes)
- Learners provide conclusions from learning at this meeting
(guided by teachers)

hello (Hello, good morning/ afternoon/evening, how are you?
