1. A.P.J Abdul Kalam
A.P.J Abdul Kalam is the former (11th) President of the Republic of India.
In fact, he is a true Tamil Nadu legend. He was born in 1931 in the city of Rameshwaram,
Tamil Nadu.
Known for his humility and down-to-earth personality, he became the 11th President of India
in 2002.
Mr Kalam was awarded Bharat Ratna, which is the highest civilian honour in India, in 1997.
C.V Raman
Mr Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930 for one of his most known works,
i.e. The Raman Effect.
