Introduction
What is design thinking?
Design thinking is a human centered approach to
innovation that draws from the designer’s toolkit to
integrate the needs of people , the possibilities of
technolog, and the requirements for bussiness success.

Design thinking is “ thinking outside the box”

“ Design thinking is an approach for creative

Fundamental principles
Using both the left brain (logic) and the right brain (creativity) to
find connections for problem identification, ideation, and
innovative solutions that are:

Define
Empathize

What is Ideation?
Ideation is a creative process where designers generate ideas in
sessions (e.g., brainstorming, worst possible idea). It is the third
stage in the Design Thinking process.

Empathize. Empathy is the first step in design thinking because it

Empathy
is a skill that allows us to understand and share the same feelings
that others feel. Through empathy, we are able to put ourselves in
other people's shoes and connect with how they might be feeling
about their problem, circumstance, or situation. One of the best
ways to develop empathy for stakeholders is to ask them
questions.

is the best way to ensure your brand can release the right
products. That is what prototyping does – implement
ideas into tangible form and explore their real-world
impact before finally executing them.

This iterative process is often called “rapid

prototyping” or “spiral prototyping.”Iterative design
can be used at any phase of the design process,
including when the product has already been launched
in the market

Open minded Grow yourself

Having a growth mindset allows us to be innovative in our

GROWTH approach. As designers, we work collectively with multiple
stakeholders and teams. If we have a growth mindset then it

MINDSET allows us to be open to others' feedback and not take it

personally. Designers with a growth mindset take responsibility for
projects.
HOW TO DEVELOP

Practices
A GROWTH MINDSET
Step 1: Spot the patterns (Change the
belief in our success)

Step 2: Visualise your best self (Change

the belief in our potential)

Step 3: Learn what action you need to

take (Take successful action) .

Step 4: Take action consistently
