In the world where we once lived naturally is now manipulated by what we can see. In this generation where we depend almost all of our time in the online world despite its drawbacks, we’re still enjoying it. In my perspective, almost all the artwork or picture evinced what is really happening in our time and it is all coming out about social media. It is not obscured, even though it is self revealing we can’t still see the effects of it. We enjoy living with it as it lives within us. We love seeing the blue skies and green grass live, we can touch and feel it but now it’s different. The other blue is hindering us from seeing the true shade of blue, it made us blind to see the true beauty of nature, the green one that vibrates through our nerves once we get touched into it. Social media is always been a great help for us. We depend our lives to them so much without thinking what would happen after that. The 21 st Century is helping us a lot and made our lives easier but I think it’s too much easiness that causes laziness who takes over our time, the valuable time that should be spent to the important ones. The value of technology is too far from the value of time and reality. In my experience, social media really consumes half of us, our lives, our time and our attention. Social media doesn’t really deserve so much of that nor a little of that. But we know its vague to see social media disappear, we need to accept it is part of our lives but I tell you it is not part and not should be the reason of our existence. Value the things that make us really happy and that is spending time with yourself and family not with social media. To sum up, it is inevitable to use them, but it is evitable for us to limit our time with them. They are not the true source of happiness and satisfaction. They don’t value human. As a college student it is important to know and to be conscious of where we put our time to. Don’t let them overtakes you, put them in their right place, under the blanket.
