Here follows a short summary of the programs we offer.

USA Au Pair Requirements:

- 18-26 years old (you must get into country before turning 27)
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Have good childcare experience.
- Understand and speak English.
- Have a love for kids & be caring.
- Agree to commit for one full year.
- Be in good physical and mental health. Only non-smokers are accepted.
- South African or Namibian citizenship
- Unmarried & no kids of your own.
- If you have a childcare education or full-time experience looking after children for at least two
years, you may qualify as an Au Pair Experience.

- No criminal record

If you are interested in Europe:


Germany:

- 12 months program
- 18 - 25 years old (get into country before turning 26)
- Need to have an A1 German Language Test certificate that is approved by the German Consulate
(must be able to speak & understand the language on a conversational level)

- The German language restriction does notapply for EU passport holders.


France:

- You must be 18-29 years old.


- Have a driver's license. (some families may take a non-driver, but it’s rare)
- Have Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Have childcare experience.
- Beginner knowledge of French is needed to apply for the visa (any basic course results will be accepted)
- Have a love for kids & be caring.
- Agree to commit for one full year.
- Be in good physical and emotional/mental health.
- Only non-smokers
- South African or Namibian citizenship.
- Unmarried & no kids of your own.
- No criminal record.
The Netherlands:

- 12 months program
- 18 -25 (get into country before turning 26)
Dutch families prefer Au Pairs a bit older than 19.

- Have very good childcare experience.


- Understand and speak English.
- Must be willing to learn Dutch in Holland
- Must be able to ride a bike
Belgium:

- 12 months program
- 18-25 (get into country before turning 26)
Belgium families also prefer Au Pairs a bit older than 18 or 19.

- Have very good childcare experience.


- Understand and speak English.

- Belgian families prefer drivers (Namibian drivers’ license not accepted unfortunately)
