• Identified validated target genes of significantly altered microRNAs following vitamin D
treatment of head and neck cancer cell lines, SCC 25 and CAL 27 using MiRTarBase software.
• Analyzed validated gene targets regulated by relevant up or down-regulated microRNAs
through DAVID v6.8.
• Explored functional analysis of common gene targets shared between CAL-27 and SCC-25 with
the aid of MetaCore software.
• Evaluated gene ontologies, process networks, GO processes, and relevant pathway diagrams
related to identified genes.
• Compiled and authored the introduction, portions of materials and methods section, discussion,
and conclusion of the prospective pilot study using knowledge of principles of epidemiology.

• Conducted contact tracing interviews and empathetically explained isolation and quarantine
guidelines to positive COVID-19 cases on behalf of Louisville Metro Health Department

cases in order to be able to complete the appropriate isolation and quarantine periods.
• Answered patient questions in regard to infectious disease, COVID-19 diagnostic testing, and
