BRAWLER
Your local tavern is your kingdom, the place where
anyone who steps out of line is going to be on the wrong
end of a knuckle sandwich.
You take notice of any strangers frequenting the
establishment of your choice and have a complicated
relationship with the owner - on the one hand, you keep
the riff-raff out but on the other, you also start fights
just to prove you are the king of this castle.
Skill Proficiencies: Athletics; Intimidation
Tool Proficiencies: One type of gaming set and Healer’s
Kit
Equipment: A set of bone dice or a deck of cards, a
Healer’s Kit, a set of common clothes, a pair of
knuckledusters, and a pouch containing 15 gp
FEATURE: READING THE ROOM
When you enter a Tavern or Inn you immediately size up
the patrons. You have a sixth sense of who might be
trouble or looking for a fight and the way you carry
yourself means that other patrons take notice of you and
might think twice before antagonising you and your
companions.
SUGGESTED CHARACTERISTICS
Brawlers spend their lives in or around urban
establishments in which they use violence to establish
their dominance. Spending their life sizing up strangers
means that they are perceptive of potential danger, but
also that it also takes longer for them to trust people.
