INTRODUCTION

Research Project Title: The Impact of Social Media On Customer Purchase Intention among
Malaysian about Beauty Industry

I am undertaking a research project as part of my studies for Business Management Degree


at the University of Greenwich under the supervision of DR. SANMUGAM

Objectives of the research project:

1. To collect the research data to investigate the impact of social media platforms that
affect the consumers purchase intention.
2. To research on the factors that influence the decision-making processes of consumer in
the beauty product purchasing.
3. To research about the feedback that given by the consumer after buying the beauty
product.

How the collection of these data will help:

1. provide about the factors influencing consumer behaviour and decision-making


2. help organisation to focus about the company marketing strategic

What participants will be asked to do:

Take part in survey form

How the data will be used:

For my assessment research in the title The Impact of Social Media On Customer Purchase
Intention among Malaysian about Beauty Industry

Data Protection: In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, all data
collected will be stored in an anonymised form, securely on the University’s IT system and
will be destroyed following the completion of the course.
