Look at the international IPA chart and other sounds from the lecture “Phonetics2” then fill in
the consonantal charts of Standard Arabic and Algerian Arabic below.

Use this link https://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/ipa.htm to find the IPA symbols. You need to
follow the instruction below:
1. Click on the phonetic symbol you want to use
2. For the sounds /p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, etc., you can simply type it using your keyboard.
3. The phonetic symbol will appear in the rectangular box.
4. Copy the phonetic symbol from the box and paste it in the chart of the homework.

For emphatic sounds, enter them based on the primary articulation, that is, dental, alveolar,
etc.
Do the same for the labial-velar /w/ and enter it in the approximant row.

Note: after completing the two charts, save your work and upload the document to Moodle.
