REFLECTION IN THE MOVIE ENTITLED ‘GEOSTORM’

I was amazed that i didn't heard about this catastrophe film until it was required
for us to watch and reflect from it.

The movie 'Geostorm' is a kind of movie that will first make us realize that
weather / climate will surely affect each one of us and the whole world whether
in a small or big way. The whole movie highlights the scenario where network of
satellites designed to control the weather goes haywire, causing catastrophic
storms worldwide.

While watching this movie, I began to question about our relationship with
nature and the potential consequences of our actions. It was really sad that
people in the movie can sacrifice a lot just to get the power that they want. It
cross my mind that with the technological advances today, it is not impossible
that those kind of scenarios will come into reality in the near future.

For me this movie serves as a reminder about the importance of environmental

protection and the need for us and the government to address climate change.
