Following a storyline I will need to research into my overall concept- that following the idea of
“Seasonal Depression” and “climotography” - how the weather can impact the way people feel
emotionally. I intend to make my production very visually pleasing to the eye, focusing on
lighting and color to create it into also some form of art. I want this piece to mainly focus on a
character in nature outdoors and how that makes people feel, when they connect with the sun and
nature together. I think I will focus more towards sunny weather compared to bad rainy weather
as I would like to mainly look at the positive side to it, and when focusing on lighting the sun
will be out and the lighting will be prominent.

I think I could have the possibility of winning this competition with my mixed media production
as it will allow me to be very creative and experimental with my production, which is something
that this film competition are particularly interested in, as they are looking for films that are
different by me experimenting with Mixed Media it's something different that the judges will be
looking for. With the level of freedom, I have I think it will give me a chance of winning as I can
get as creative, I want which is something I will be doing. Looking at stop motion is something
that not a lot of young developing film makers do, therefore I think it would stand out from the
rest, giving me more of an opportunity of winning the competition.
Legal and Ethical Issues
The legal and ethical issues I may face mainly will be to do with the music I decide to use.
