SFX: Cash Register Sound FX Mark: Micah, What were the things you bought? Micah: I bought toppings Mark: Why? Dad said you should buy fillings? Didn’t you listen what dad said, dad was making donuts that’s why he asked you to buy fillings Micah: Fillings? No its you who got it all wrong, as I heard dad said toppings not fillings Mark: No it was fillings, that why he said to buy flour, eggs and baking soda because he was making donuts. Why didn’t you understand what dad said? Micah: I don’t need to understand it, I just need to hear it. And that’s it, you’re the one who got it all mixed up Mark: You’re the one who got it all mixed up, you really didn’t pay attention to what dad said because you were scrolling through your phone Micah: Hmmm, Yeah I don’t need to do all of those things when I could just hear it and just do it Mark: Then let’s go to dad if what you heard was really true Narrator: At home
Dad: So you got everything I asked for?
Mark: Yes dad, I even bought cocoa flour and
some glaze for the donut Micah: Yeah dad, I bought the Toppings
Dad: What Toppings? I said fillings because I
was making donuts Micah: I thought you said toppings because I heard you were making cupcakes Dad: No I said donuts, you should really be listening instead of just hearing because you didn’t understand what I said or my instructions Micah: Oh dad, I am sorry I should really be more attentive and focused when you were giving instructions Dad: This should be a lesson that next time you should really be listening to what I am saying rather than only hearing it, if you listen to somebody you can really avoid miscommunications and understand what they are saying Micah: Okay dad, I’m sorry lil bro that I said that you were wrong Mike: It’s okay sis, at least you earned your lesson
