Ireland Student Visa Documentation Checklist

1. Passport (All pages of current & all previous passports)

The passport requires validity to cover the Course duration and it should have 4
continuous blank pages for Visa stamping.

2. Photograph - 2 nos.

(45-50mm in height and 35-38mm in width, a plain white or light grey background, the
face takes up 70-80% of the frame and without borders)

3. Ireland VFS Global - VAC ( Visa Application Centre )

Appointment Letter & Visa Payment Receipt.
(Visa fees INR 18000/- (approx.) – International Payment Accessed debit/credit card)

4. Application Summary (will be provided)

5. IRL Study Visa Financial summary Form (will be provided)

6. Unconditional Offer Letter from the institution (color printout)

7. Statement Of Purpose (SOP)

a. Self Introduction- family, education and experience background.

b. Why this program?
(Reason for choosing the program, course modules, skills can be achieved etc.)
c. Why this Institute?
(Ranking, facilities, fees structure etc to be compared with other institutions in Ireland
providing the same course.)
d. Why Ireland?
(Education system in Ireland, global recognition, comparison with other European
countries)
e. How this program is beneficial to me?
(Career outcome, job opportunities, job positions, list of companies interested to work,
expected salary range)

8. Gap Explanation

If you have any academic or experience gap for more than 1 year, gap explanation with
adequate evidence required.
9. TOEFL / IELTS / PTE Score Card (Academic)

10. Academic Documents

a) 10th standard certificate

b) 12th standard certificate
c) Diploma/Degree /Master's Degree certificate. (If student has just finished the degree
and has not received the degree certificate, then the student must obtain provisional
degree certificate from the university or college stating clearly class obtained)
d) All Individual Mark list , Consolidated or Transcript of Diploma /Degree/ Master's
Degree
e) Other Certificates relevant to your chosen program. (If any)
f) Transcript(mandatory for nursing and other medical related courses)
g) Council Registration Certificate(mandatory for nursing and other medical related
courses
h) Internship certificate(mandatory for nursing and other medical related courses)

Employment Details :-

a) Service Certificate- (Appointment Letter/Appraisal Letter/ESI/PF –as supporting

documents)
b) Salary Account Statement (for the total duration )

11. Finance cover letter

12. Tuition fees receipt from the institution

(Mandatory to pay the first year tuition fees in full before filing the visa application)

13. Telegraphic Transfer Receipt from bank

14. Finance Documents

(Funds must cover the total tuition fees and the Living expenses – 10,000 Euro per
annum) for the entire course duration)

Bank documents without manager’s seal & bank stamp will not be considered

a) Cover Letter & Savings Bank Account Statement from the Nationalized/Scheduled
Banks (only the least balance for the last 6 months will be considered)
b) Cover Letter & Fixed Deposit Receipt from the Nationalized/Scheduled Banks
(minimum 6 months matured FD will be considered)
c) Education Loan from the Nationalized/Scheduled Banks(format
attached) Conditions for availing loan:-
 Irish Embassy appreciates only the 50% of the total cost as loan amount
 Pledged property should be in the name of the eligible sponsor only
 Mandatory to take loan disbursement letter(format attached) & loan account
statement from the bank after making the payment
 Collateral security details:- Property valuation report & deed ( Malayalam copy &
English translation required with Seal & Signature )

d) Recent fund deposits in the Nationalized/Scheduled Banks having proper source will
be considered Conditions for taking recent deposits:

Funds should be from the following source:(only the bank transfers accepted with
previous supporting documents)
 Funds from salary
 Retirement benefits
 Provident fund
 Land Aqusition
 LIC Premium (minimum 6 months maturity required)
 Insurance Premium from Nationalized/Scheduled banks (minimum 6 months
maturity required)
 Recurring Deposits (RD) (minimum 6 months maturity required)
 Post Office Savings (minimum 6 months maturity required)
 Mutual Funds (minimum 6 months maturity required)
 Funds through land acquisition
 Sale of property (required sale deed, bank transactions, cheques etc.)
 Bank Savings (minimum 6 months maturity required)
 Treasury Savings (minimum 6 months maturity required)
 Fixed Deposits with Co-operative Bank (minimum 6 months maturity required)
- (all previous FD receipts required)

(It is mandatory to submit the last 6 months of the Savings Bank Account Statement of
the student as well as the financial sponsors)

Eligible Sponsors: Parents, Siblings, Grandparents, Spouse, Parent-in-laws

(mandatory to provide relationship proof-need to inform the VDA well in advance) (T&C
apply)

15. Family Income Proof

(Minimum RS.6.5 lakhs per annum for any of your parents & Sponsors )

a. Last 3 years Income Tax Returns (ITR) / Form 16

 b. If NRI Sponsors need to be submitted :
 Business Registatration certificate / License certificate (If own Business )
 The Salary Certificate from the Employer /Salary Pay Slip (Last 6months )
 Individual Account Statement
 Salary Account Statement for the last 6 months
 Passport & Visa Copy

16. Net Worth Certificate

17. Affidavit of Sponsorship from all the sponsors(format attached)

18. Id Proof of Sponsors & Candidate (Passport,Aadhaar & Pan card )

19. Medical Insurance - 170 EURO (assistance will be provided)

20. Police Clearance Certificate from Passport Seva Kendra

(PCC is mandatory from all countries in which you held residence permission in the 5
years prior to the date of your visa application)
