Warming-up:
- Speaking about what is a story. The students give the definition of “story”.
- Reading: They need to order a cut down text by reading its parts and they will
do the exercises of the reading comprehension at home.
- Speaking: They talk about the elements, characters and parts a story must have.
- Showing the elements of a story.
While:
- Speaking: Creating a story following the different instructions and adding the
information given.
- Telling the stories.
Post:
- Writing: the students write their own stories on “bookcreator.com” This will
create a digital book that will be published on social media for the rest students
of the high school.
CONTENTS
Writing a story is part of the unit 4. With this writing students revise the previous grammar, verb tenses and
the grammar of this unit which is relative pronouns. The use of linking words is presented in this activity too.

ASSESSMENT
The assessment will take part in the final product of this project. The students will create
a short story on the digital book. This story will be assessed as a normal writing with the
writing rubric I attach.
