In last 20 years, environmental problems are global problems, which stands to be solved by every

human on this planet. That is why we are reproducing plastics, making cars more ecofriendly, etc.
But problem isn’t solved yet and that’s why we facing the problems with biodiversity.

Biodiversity, short for biological diversity, refers to the variety of life on Earth, including the different
species of plants, animals, microorganisms, and the ecosystems they form. The importance of
biodiversity is being more widely recognized nowadays. And that is because increasing number of
species come under treat. The reason is human. One of the main drivers of biodiversity decline is
habitat destruction. With industrial development and urban growth, vast areas of natural habitat
such as forests, wetlands and grasslands have been cleared, for infrastructure and housing. This has
resulted in the loss of critical habitats of animal species, bringing many to the brink of extinction. In
addition pollution from industries, agriculture and transportation has contaminated ecosystem,
harming wildlife. The overuse of pesticides, in agriculture, has led to less biodiversity of insects such
as bees and butterflies, affecting the reproduction of numerous plant species.

Despite these challenges, there is a growing awareness of the importance of biodiversity

conservation. Conservation organizations, governments and individuals are working to protect and
restore habitats, and reduce gas emissions. In addition, raising awareness of the value of biodiversity
important too. Education and advocacy can promote changes in behavior and policies that help
preserve the amazing diversity of life on our planet.
