As demand for reliable, always-on, high-speed broadband services continues to rapidly grow, fiber optic networks
are becoming the solution of choice for Fiber to the Business (FTTB) or Fiber to the Home (FTTH) customers in
metropolitan, suburban and urban areas around the world. In the last decade, growing demand for bandwidth
intensive applications has driven an extensive deployment of centralized fiber optic networks. However,
connecting the “last mile” for end users using conventional trenching has been a cost prohibitive.

Gonona has experience working and completing fiber optics network deployment services in Chittagong. Our work
includes Overhead Cable Installation for 25000 meters, Vertical Work for 68 sites, and Cable Blowing of 59,500
meters. We are also the leading maintenance service providers in the Chittagong region. Currently we provided
maintenance service for 340,000 meters of optical fiber network. We are extremely efficient at what we do and
 our “prevention not cure” approach helped us achieve an outstanding uptime of 100% on our entire fiber optics
network.

Gonona Technologies Ltd with Summit Communications Ltd

 Summit Communications Ltd. (SCL) was founded in 2009 as a subsidiary of Summit Group. Now it’s serving
the telecom and ICT industry through its robust and protected infrastructure under its NTTN (Nationwide
Telecommunication Transmission Network), ITC (International terrestrial Cable) & IIG (International Internet
Gateway) licenses.
 SCL has deployed its network nationwide penetrating upto upazilla level. It has access over around 10,000
KM Optical Fiber Network around the country. As a part of international terrestrial network, we are connected to
East and West zone of Global network through 4 upstream Operators, Tata communications ltd, Bharti Airtel ltd,
Telecom Malaysia and Telecom Italia Sparkle. Our Dhaka-Benapole ITC path is lit up through PGCB (Power Grid
Company of Bangladesh Ltd.) network which is very secure.
We provide full network deployment and maintenance support in Chittagong region for SCL. So far, Our work
includes Overhead and underground Cable Blowing of 2,58,500 meters and network maintaining of 380,000
meters to ensure 3G and 4G connectivity in Bangladesh.

Operation in Chittagong:

We have two different teams in two different and suitable locations at Chittagong with all necessary equipments.
Our teams in Halishahar and Kazir-dewri are always standby for any cable trouble shooting. Every team contains:
1. One Splicing Machine
2. One OTDR
3. One Optical Power meter
4. One Ladder
5. One Van
6. and other equipments.

If necessary we will consider making another new team only to service for Link 3 Technologies Ltd. depends on
ordering cable blowing length. It is noted that, our team members have more than five years field experience for
cable blowing and maintenance task in Chittagong City area. From June 2011 we used to blow the cable for
Summit Communication Ltd. Currently we are maintaining more than 400 Km cable for SCL only in Chittagong.
