“If I were a superhero I would fly and reach that tree branches to
feed the nestlings which are so hungry right now”, answered me to my
beautiful English teacher, teacher Davamani pointing at the nestlings
on the tree near my class. “Very good Deepa”, praised my teacher.
“Well students, superheroes are not only save human beings, they also
save other creatures that share the earth with us.” she added. I felt
very proud. This is why I love my teacher very much.
Once back home, I felt very tired and laid on my bed for a while,
thinking about the superhero lesson that my teacher taught me in the
class. Suddenly, I heard somebody was knocking the room door. When I
checked, there wasn’t anyone. Again, I heard the same knocking sound.
But surprisingly it’s not from outside, but inside my room. I carefully
looked around the room and the sound was coming from my wardrobe.
But this time, the sound was louder. I carefully went and opened my
wardrobe. What a surprise! My family hurriedly came out from the
wardrobe with a very serious face. They wore a very unusual tight red
outfits with a mask on their eyes. They looked more like ‘The
Incredibles’. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Before I opened my mouth, my dad said “Let’s go Deepa, there is
no more time left. We have to combine our powers, to save the world”.
“Yes honey, we need to move immediately”, said mom. “Hurry up” said
my brother and sister. I was still in shock that I couldn’t even utter a
word”. Then my mom explained. “Honey, we are actually a super hero
family. We planned to not to tell you this secret, until you have reached
12 years old. But now, the situation is getting worst. The aliens are
going to attack the Earth. Their mission is to take over all the planets in
the entire Universe. We have to be quick. Let’s join us.” “But how? I
neither have the super power nor the outfit” I told them. “You are
already in your outfit” said my dad.
To my surprise, I just noticed that I was already in the same
outfits that they wore. “And hold our hands, you’ll get your super
power,” said my brother. I hold their hands and suddenly I felt myself
was flying so higher and higher. We passed the clouds, the sky and
finally the earth. We travelled for almost 30 minutes and reached the
outer space. The space was very dark but beautiful. I could see all the
other planets, the stars, the moon, the sun and the meteoroids. There
were many beautiful, strange and mysterious objects in space.
“The aliens are here. Get ready to attack!” shouted my dad. In
front of us popped out thousands of aliens. The aliens’ faces were in
horrible pink. They had two eyes. They looks like octopus. They were
on the way towards the earth. “We have to stop them from getting into
the earth”, said my sister. We came face to face with the evil aliens.
The aliens tried to attack us. They squirted a black, inky liquid
towards us. We pointed our fingers towards them and they started to
fire like a gun. The bullets flew as fast as lightning and killed many of
them. Then, we used our super power to disappear and appeared
behind the aliens. They didn’t realise that we were standing behind
them. Using this opportunity, we threw our gummy spider web from
our wrists which made them immobilize. By this way, the aliens
couldn’t move their bodies. Finally, we made a very big fire ball by
combining all our super powers and destroyed all the aliens. Finally the
aliens were scattered into pieces.
I returned back to the earth with an exciting story to tell to my
English teacher tomorrow. I bet my teacher is never going to believe
this. Suddenly my mom shook me “Deepa, how long you have been
sleeping? You are supposed to take bath and have your dinner by
now”. Am I dreaming? Oh my God, I need to take bath as fast as I
could. Otherwise, my mom will become the hulk.
