FREE TIME ACTIVITIES/ HOBBIES

1. What do you usually do in your free time?
Well, in my spare time, I like watching Youtube. I’m quite busy during
the day so I choose Youtube to relax my mind in the evening. I usually
watch a film or some reality shows. Besides, I enjoy listening to music.
My favorite kind of music is POP.
2. What do you usually do on weekends and weekdays?
I’am rather busy during the week. i go to school in the morning and the
affternoon I go to work on weekdays so in the evening, I cook dinner, stay
at home and chat with my family member about what they have done
during the day. However, at weekends when I have a free time, I often go
out with my friend. we go to eating out, coffee, shop or ego to the cinema.
3. What do you usually do when you go out?
when I’m out, I often eat out with my family or go for a drink with
friends. Sometimes, my family go to the park, go shopping and so on.
4. What do you usually do with your friends?
We often go to a café and chat about anything in the world like work, life,
family and some drama in social network. Sometimes, we visit each
other’s home and enjoy meals together.
5. What are good hobbies and bad hobbies?
I would say good hobbies are those which bring benefits to people such as
reading books or doing sports. On the contrary, spending too much time
on the Internet can be bad for your health.
II. HOMETOWN OR BIRTH PLACE
1. Where do you come from?
My hometown is Phu Yen provine which located in the Sourth Central
Coast region of Vietnam. It’s famour for a long beach with the yellow
sandy and clear blue water. PY is one of the most popular destinations for
young people in 2 recemt years, with many famous places such as Gành
Đá Dĩa, Nhà Thờ mằn lăng, mũi điện, vũng rô,…
2. Where do you live?
Now I study and live in Ho Chi Minh city. It is a metropolitan area with
millions of dwellers. As a matter of fact, I believe it is the most populated
city in Vietnam.
3. Can you tell me something about your hometown?
Of course. You know, my hometown is Phu Yen provine which located in
the Sourth Central Coast region of Vietnam. It’s famour for a long beach.
There are many beaches with the yellow sandy and clear blue water for
relaxing and swimming such as Vung Ro, Bai Tram, Bai Xep. Besides,
one of the attractions in PY is the cuisine, especially seafood. it's very
sweet and fresh.
4. Can you tell me some famous landscapes or scenic spots in your
hometown?
Yes, people coming to my hometown can go to Cu Lao Mai Nha Island
which is located in from Tuy An. It takes about 20 minutes to travel by
boat to the island. Cu Lao Mai Nha is a peaceful and untouched tourist
destination. It has clear blue sea water with fine white sand, which is very
suitable for you to picnic.
III. FAMILY
1. How many people are in your famil?
I come from a small family which has four members: my parents, my
younger brother and me. My younger brother is 15 years old and he study
at highschool. He is in the tenth grade.
2. What's your father like?
My father is 45 years old and he work in aquaculture. My father is
humourous person. He often tells jokes which make us laugh. Besides,
he’s very strict. He never allows me to come home late at night.
3. What's your mother like?
My mother is 44 years old and she is a housewife. My mother is a caring
and understanding person. She takes good care of my family and
whenever I have a problem, I always share with her because she often
listens to my problem and gives me very good advice.
4. Do you live alone?
No, I don’t. I live with my friend. We are high school friends. We live
together near HCM university of Banking. We study together.
5. Who do you respect most in your family?
In my family, I respect both my mother and my father most because they
are really my idol. They taught me how to live well and always give me
 good advice. They have been taking care of me since I was little. My
parents are also very tolerant. I always come to them when I have any
problem.
6. Who has had the most influence in your life?
My father has had the most influence in my life. It is my father who
strictly taught me valuable lessons in life and always stands by my side
whenever I have trouble. He really sets a good example for us to follow.
7. Who do you get on well in your family?
I love everyone in my family but I get on very well with my mother. I
often share with her everything or when I have trouble, I often ask her for
advice. We understand each other very well.
8. Do you ever argue with someone in your family? What do you argue
about?
Yes, I do. My sister and I sometimes have an argument about what TV
program to watch. I like watching films while she prefers to watch fashion
show. Sometimes, we argue about how to cook a meal. I like to bland
diet. My sister, on the other hand, likes to slightly salty diet.
