Dress Code Policy

1. Policy brief & purpose


Our dress code company policy outlines how we expect our employees to dress at
work. Employees should note that their appearance matters when representing our
company in front of clients, visitors or other parties. An employee’s appearance can
create a positive or negative impression that reflects on our company and culture.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees of We wonders International Apparels Pvt Ltd

3. Policy elements
These dress code rules always apply:

 All employees must be clean and well-groomed. Grooming styles dictated by


religion and ethnicity aren’t restricted.
 All clothes must be work-appropriate. Clothes that are typical in workouts and
outdoor activities aren’t allowed.
 All clothes must project professionalism. Clothes that are too revealing or
inappropriate aren’t allowed.

4. The following are examples of items that are not acceptable:

 ripped or torn clothing


 Colored hair, extreme hairstyle
 Slipper or Chappal
 sportswear

5. Disciplinary Consequences
When an employee disregards our dress code, their supervisor should reprimand
them. The employee should start respecting our dress code immediately. In some
cases, supervisors may ask employees to returning home to change.

Employees may face more severe consequences up to and including termination, if:

Their appearance causes irreparable damage, like loss of a major client.

They repeatedly violate our dress code.


6. Monday to Friday

Males

 Full Pants (formal pants and not jeans)


 Formal Shirts: Half Shirts or Full shirts (with sleeves buttoned up) tucked in.
 Leather Belts and shoes with socks

Dos and Don’ts

 Keep the hair clean, trim and neat.


 Keep beards and mustaches trimmed or clean shaven
 Do not have gutkha in the office
 Do not wear Slippers and Sandals
 Do not wear shirts and T-shirts with writing or cartoons

Females

 Salwar Kameez / Saree Or


 Full Pants and formal shirts

Dos and Don’ts

 Do not wear shirts and T-shirts with writing or cartoons


 Do not wear short & skimpy shirts/outfits
 Do not wear flashy and heavy ornaments

Saturdays [For both Males & Females]

 Business Casuals (excluding tight fitting apparels)


 Do not wear shirts and T-shirts with writing or cartoons

7. Office Etiquette

 Employees should follow standard office timings or specific shift timings


conveyed by the reporting manager/HOD
 Employees should normally speak in official language i.e. English during formal
meetings
 Employees should carry their Identity cards with them during office hours
 Employees are prohibited from smoking / taking alcohol during office hours or at
office
 Employees should switch off AC and lights while leaving work places
