many Indian students in the past so flying for Indian students is specifically
done as per the DGCA guidelines.
2fly airborne has a huge fleet size of 50 + aircrafts due to which I can complete my
training in less time.
Moreover the instructor as well as aircraft ratio is 4:1 which helps to
complete the training in less duration.

experienced.

Officer: Why do you want to do CPL only from USA & why not from any other countries?
US education is 8 years ahead of the rest of the world and they are holding very high
standards for flight training.
Officer I searched many academies in India & abroad like IGRUA (Uttar Pradesh),
Orient flight school (Chennai), Eagle flight training (New Zealand), Australian
wings academy (Australia). Their duration is around 2-3 years.
Officer it is my childhood dream to become a pilot .also my passion & aim in life is
to become the best one. Working with thousands feet high is quite thrilling &
fascinating. I would love to fly high & from the day 1, I used to keep on watching
lots of pictures & videos of planes. The more I watch is the more interest that I have

training?
My entire training is of 258 hours which is divided into 3 phases Private Pilot License (PPL),
Instrument Rating and Multi Engine. In PPL I’ll learn basics of flight training. Second is
Instrument rating wherein we learn how to fly a plane in adverse weather conditions and low
visibility, with the help of navigational controls and aircraft instruments. After attaining
instrument rating I will be doing multi engine rating which will be done on piper Seneca.
Officer: How can you assure me that after the training you will get the job for sure?
All major Indian airlines have ordered many aircrafts therefore there are
many vacancies in India for next 2-3 years.
Officer as many new airlines like true Jet, Jet Blu and many more are
coming up in India which would require many pilots. So it won’t be very
difficult to find a job in India.
Officer: How did you get your admission letter, i-20 & all your other documents?
Officer: Which all aircrafts would you be flying during this training?
I will be flying in Piper PA-28, Cessna 172 & Piper Seneca aircrafts with glass cockpit

Officer I searched over the internet for good aviation academies in India & Abroad
like IGRUA (Uttar Pradesh), Orient flight school (Chennai), Eagle flight training
(New Zealand), Australian wings academy (Australia), Blue Bird Flight Academy
(Canada), Epic Flight School (Florida), Phoenix East Aviation (Florida), Orlando
Flight School (Florida). Then I came toknow about the 2Fly Airborne which has
great reviews. Then I enquired in the academy and they gave all the information.
Officer I got the information about the Training, Weather conditions, Fee structure
& Accommodation
No officer, I myself searched for good flight training schools & came to know
about 2Fly Airborne. Then I directly contacted the academy.
Officer My Previous visa got rejected under section 214B . I really don’t know the
reason, might be the previous visa officer was not satisfied with my interview. But I
am a very genuine student, I really want to become a pilot & only for that purpose
I want to go to USA.
Officer after the completion of my training, I will immediately come back to India
& join the Indian aviation & serve for my country.
Officer: So why is it so important to come back to India? Why don’t you want to stay &
work there?
Officer my plan is to complete my training in USA and after completion of that I’ll
immediately come back to India as many new airlines are coming up, India would
require many pilots. So it will be a golden opportunity for me to get the job &
serve for my nation. Above all I’m the only responsible person in my family who
will be taking care of my Parents.

Officer: What do you know about Aviation?
Yes officer, I have searched many academy in India like IGRUA which is in Raebareli
(uttar Pradesh) the fee is $70,000, Orient Flight School (Chennai) the fee is $80,000 &
CAE Gondia (Maharashtra) the fee is $1,00,000. And also I have searched in abroad
as well like, California flight academy (California), Flybe (U.K)
Officer: After completion of your training when you become pilot, in which airline would
you like to work for?
You: Officer I would like to work with Indigo airline. Because Indigo is one of the
leading airlines in India. (It was established in 2005& started its operation in 2006.)
Since it is one of the most experienced airlines in travel & service industry, I would
like to start my career with Indigo where I can expand my knowledge & skills.
Moreover Indigo has confirmed its order to buy 250 aircrafts of airbus 320neo in
coming days which require 25 pilots per plane. Also Indigo encourages its
employees with promotion from junior first officer to senior first officer & then
Senior first officer to Command within a short tenure.
Officer: Do you know how to convert your US commercial pilot license into an Indian one?
Officer after the completion of my training, I will have to write 2 DGCA exam i.e.
composite(navigation ,meteorology) and Air Regulation on which basis my US
Commercial Pilot license will be converted into Indian license.
Officer: How will you manage the cultural & educational differences in the US?
Officer, being from a modern family & owing to my education I am flexible to adjust
for all environments very fast. So I don’t think that the differences will matter much
for me.
Officer: Why do you want to change your major {If you have changed the field of
specialization – from Engineering to pilot training?} (If applicable)
Officer, from childhood days I am passionate to become pilot. Couple of years back
the Indian aviation industry was not in good shape as it was in recession. My
parents didn’t allow me to go into this industry. That’s why I have chosen my
second option of Engineering. But now, the aviation industry especially in India is
desperately in booming. So now my parents have given me the green signal to apply
now.
Officer: Why didn’t you do this course earlier instead of your Graduation? (If applicable)
Officer because at that time the Indian aviation industry was not in good shape.
But now as many new airlines are coming up in India & many pilots are required.
So now I can easily get the job.
Officer: What benefits & perks will you get after investing so much in your CPL?
Officer, being a pilot my position will be more of long term one, where my job would
be secured. I will get Rs.27 lakhs to Rs. 1 Core income per annum, with added
advantage I will get employment travel & stay in 5* hotels for free, also free air
tickets to my first family
Officer: Can you mention the types of license? Student Pilot License, Private Pilot License,
Commercial Pilot License, Airline Transport Pilot License.
Officer: Mention the forces of an aircraft Lift, Drag, Thrust & weight
Officer, TOEFL is not required for Commercial Pilot License training in USA
Officer CPL stands for Commercial Pilot License & it is the license which one has to
get to work as a Pilot commercially. And as per DGCA 200 hours of flying is required
to become a pilot in India.
Yes officer, I have studied the subjects like Physics & Mathematics which is related
to aviation or I have taken ground school training.
Officer: Is your academy giving you any scholarships? Or why haven’t you received any
scholarships?
Officer: Since you are the one & only son of your family, who will take care of your
parents in your absence? (If applicable) (or)
Officer My Parents are health wise good & financially as well. Any which ways the
course is only for 12 months. In the meanwhile I will complete the training as soon
as possible & immediately I will come back to India & take care of my parents
Some Tips:
Don’t be late
Carry all the documents as per visa checklist.
Wear formal dress on both OFC & Interview.
Hide tattoos which are visible to others.
Boys are advised to do Clean shave.
Be calm & confident. Don’t be nervous.
