Instructions:
1. Listen to different short videos about the song Bahay Kubo.
2. When you hear the music, pay attention to how many different sounds or
layers of sound you can hear.
3. After each piece of music, we'll discuss what we heard and how it made the
music sound.

Assignment:
For homework, the students will find and listen to a piece of music that exhibits
one of the three main textures (monophony, homophony, or polyphony). Write
Two (2) paragraphs describing the texture and their thoughts about how it
contributes to the music. Students can also identify instances of counterpoint if
applicable. They should come prepared to share their findings in the next class.
