MILG, BYC, SK FEDERATION STARTS MANDATORY

TRAININGS

April 20, 2021

The Ministry of the Interior and Local Government and BYC in partnership
with Maguindanao SK Federation have started conducting the SK Mandatory
Training for the remaining officials who haven’t undergone the said training.

During the opening program, BYC Chair MP Marjanie Macasalong have


emphasized in his message the importance of digging through basics of
leadership and expounding the law that amended the Sangguniang Kabataan
through the SK Reform Act of 2015. Further, he also mentioned the
importance of implementing their respective Local Youth Development Plans
to augment the community-based needs of youth constituents.
Parang Municipality Mayor Cahar Ibay also graced the opening of the training
and inspired the participants to continue be active youth as agents of
change. He also said that he was then like them, he was also an active youth
leaders before pushing through the rights of the Moros even outside our
territory.

The cluster 1 trainees are SK officials from the municipalities of Parang,


Sultan Kudarat and Sultan Mastura. The officials will undergo five (5)
modules as indicated in its implementing rules and regulations. Furthermore,
the said cluster trainings will be given free by the Bangsamoro Government.
