(So we are now in Module 3, the emergence of social science disciplines. On this module we will
understand deeply about the emergence of the Social Science and its discipline. Mas ma learn pa nato

connections to each other through their historical and social foundations.)

ACTIVITY:
THE CLASS WILL BE GROUP INTO 2 GROUPS FOR THE REPORTING. PLEASE FOLLOW THE
INSTRUCTIONS.
LESSON 1: ANTHROPOLOGY, ECONOMICS, GEOGRAPHY AND HISTORY
LESSON 2: LIGUISTIC, POLITICAL SCIENCE, PSYCHOLOGY, SOCIOLOGY AND DEMOGRAPHY
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Identify the HISTORICAL FOUNDATIONS, SOCIAL CONTEXT and SOCIAL FOUNDATIONS
of each discipline.
2. Demonstrate their FIELDS, AREAS OF INQUIRY and METHOD.
3. Recognize the multidisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary of each discipline.
4. Compare and contrast each discipline according their FIELDS, AREAS OF INQUIRY and
METHOD.
5. Explain the importance of each discipline’s historical foundation or discovery to the current
society.
6. Report your output in a MANILA PAPER and make a copy of your report as basis of your
grades.
7. Full cooperation is a MUST.
