1. Why is global governance multi-faceted?

Global governance is multi-faceted because it covers different political aspects of

the world. It encompasses the making and reformations of global policies that seeks to
improve the rules and regulations. It also includes the global security for peace and
order between nations. It also covers the areas of social and environmental issues that
aim to lessen and stop the social and environmental problems. Another area that global
governance is part of is the global justice, wherein it is tasked to settle equal justice in
every nation. It also covers the development of trade and finance, that target the best
trading system and financing techniques that will lead to prosperity of a region.

2. How do international organizations take on "lives on their own"?

International organizations take on lives on their own by being independent, and

just depend on themselves to establish their respective organizations. This took time but
they surely developed their organizations,

3. What are the challenges faced by the United Nations in maintaining global
security?

United Nations faced numerous challenges in maintaining global security. UN is

taking a hard time in maintaining peace between states due to different conflicts.
Terrorism is also a problem that UN is still finding solutions how to stop. Poverty,
disease, and environmental breakdown also challenge the UN.
