Reflection Essay

Throughout writing my three essays, I have incorporated what I have learned from the

prior two essays into my third one. From the first essay, I used the tip from my peer reviews that

I should add a title to my papers. On the other hand, since essay one was about a flyer/document,

I could not analyze any elements of my article used in essay three. From the second essay, I kept

in mind while writing to keep my wording clear and easy to understand. On the contrary, I could

not use the analysis of a visual image as everything I analyzed in essay three was written. One

thing I learnt from the writing of essay three was to provide examples for what I am writing

about as it helps with making what I am trying to convey clear to the readers. Since I wrote about

a scientific research essay, I cannot apply my approach to my essay to classes that are not based

in science or research,

The writing of this essay was a bit harder than writing my previous essays as I had to

search for rhetorical devices. Furthermore, the analysis of a peer reeviewed article helped

improve how I wrote has I had to be more clear and be easy to understand while presenting how

rhetorical devices were worked in the article. The most common types of comments I received

from the readers of my essay was that I tended to not give details or examples, leading for them

to get lost. This is different from the comments received in my previous essays as I provided

enough examples and details with imagery to help with understanding.

As for the instructor comments, I think that they will be a bit different as this is a

rhetorical analysis. Writing this essay challenged me as a writer as I as constantly re-cheacking if

what I wrote was easy to understand and if I had the correct rhetorical devices.
