Standar Operating Procedure (SOP) installation of infusion set

Before performing the action, should wash your hands first. Explain to the
client about the procedure and the sensation to be felt during infusion. Next, Set
the patient's position as comfortable as possible. Then prepare the liquid by
connecting the liquid bottle with the infusion tube and hanging on the infusion
standard. Determine the area of the vein to be punctured. Then attach the base.
Install a breakdown tournament ± 15 cm above the vein to be punctured. Wear
gloves. Disinfection of the area to be punctured with a diameter of 5-10 cm. Push
IV catheter into the vein with a needle facing the heart. Make sure the IV needle
goes into the vein. Connect IV needle with IV line. Perform the fixation of the IV
needle tip at the insertion point. Close the insertion area with a dry gauze then
plaster. Arrange infusion droplets according to medical program. Remove the
